Staying Up Late for a Spectacle: Witnessing Tonight’s Partial Lunar Eclipse Over Wales

Tonight, I’m staying up late to catch a rare sight—the partial lunar eclipse over Wales. This celestial event occurs when the Earth’s shadow partially covers the moon, creating a stunning display in the night sky.

For the best view, aim to watch between 3:12am and 4:15am, with the peak at 3:44am. Find a dark spot away from light pollution, and if you can, bring binoculars or a good camera for a closer look at the moon's shadowed surface. Don’t forget to check the weather and bundle up for a chilly night!

It’s not every night we get the chance to witness a lunar eclipse, and I’m excited to stay up and soak in the beauty of this rare event.

There is a solar storm too, so you might get to see the Aurora if the moon doesn't wash it out.

I had hoped to get a peek at it, too, but we have clouds here 🙁
Glad to see you have clear skies! 🌜
