Macro photography: a glimpse into a hidden world.... 😱 and the inspirations for life!

Finding inspiration in the smallest of things

That is what macro photography is to me... Nature's small wonders teach us a whole lot...

I bought a Tokina manual 100 mm macro lens and started discovering a whole world of beauty and inspiration right under my feet (almost literally! πŸ˜‚)

I started discovering that nature's small wonders were all around me. Apart from the cuteness I found in the tiny creatures, I also saw stories that inspired me!

Like this tiny red ant. No longer than couple of millimeters perhaps. On a rainy day, this daring survivor tried 7-8 times and finally managed to swim across a tiny rivulet of water in the garden that has sprung up due to a rain shower..

Inspiring stories in the tiny world.. !!

Staring at the water in a defiant manner, this ant macro epitomizes the Never say Die spirit in my view...

Nothing can stop me! Never say die attitude

Take the tiny jumping spiders lurking in nooks and crannies in the house or garden... Till I trained my macro lens on them, I had no idea how colorful these little wonders were.

I am wearing a rainbow !! So what if I am small - I can still be noticed!!

Usually, insects tend to blend in but this tiny guy just advertises his presence and dazzles us. Hats off to the daring attitude!

Other jumping spiders too, I noticed, carry a nice color band, much like a bandana on their head... With their round big eyes and the bandana, these guys look very cute!

Balance is important in life!

Balancing on tips of leaves shaking in the wind, these guys can teach us a lot about balance in life!

They also teach us to be ruthless and have killer instincts!

I was amazed to see this tiny jumping spider jump 5-10 times it's own body length to capture this mosquito!

Apart from making fascinating macro subjects, these tiny guys also get rid of pesky mosquitos. So my respect for jumping spiders grew... πŸ˜€

Finally - A group of ants foraging together - they know perfectly what team work is!

Teamwork is important!

Hope you all enjoyed these images. The technology of Macro lenses is amazing - isn't it!!

I would love to hear your own views on this. What do you think ? Do you think it was worth it? Have you attempted or would you attempt anything like this in photography?

Please comment freely and let me know your opinion. I will try to bring many different types of wildlife photos/macro/Astro posts to the community. Feedback and comments are welcome,. I am still learning many techniques and always value feedback from experts in this community.

Have a nice day everyone. Cheers!

@ninahaskin Thank you so much for appreciating the clicks. I am mainly a wildlife photographer and do a lot of feathered friend clicks but my main interest is photography so I keep trying my hand at macro, astro and portrait photography... with varying amounts of success of course! πŸ˜€

I am honored. Thank you very much for following. I hope that I am able to keep brining good content to the community and HIVE.

I think you are too modest. Your passion for photography shows through the photos but the way you capture things is definitely at a different level. I was awed to see the portraits in one of your posts and am also amazed by the rainbows you captured recently. I have tried rainbows once in the past and the images turned out quite grainy. Yours are super vibrant and clean. Will certainly try this rainy season again and see if I can get closer to your quality of captures.

Cheers!

@derangedvisions These days, I am mostly sharing something once a week or twice at the most due to the workload of some projects. Hope you do not get an overload of birds and animals through my wildlife click posts πŸ˜€. Your suggestions and comments will be most welcome. I am still learning a lot in photography and will certainly appreciate inputs for improvements.

Cheers.
