Continuando con mi recorrido por la zona de San Luis, quisiera compartir mi visita a la playa del mismo nombre. Durante mi caminata, me detuve a observar unas aves que jugaban tranquilamente en el mar, manteniendo una distancia respetuosa para poder fotografiarlas. Estos amigos emplumados ciertamente saben disfrutar de los encantos del océano; en todas mis visitas a este lugar, esta fue la primera vez que vi tantos pelícanos juntos: revoloteando y, tras realizar diversas acrobacias aéreas, nadando muy relajados en el agua.
Después de observarlos durante unos minutos, tomé el sendero que marca la entrada a la playa; este presenta letras blancas sobre fondo azul y está decorado con imágenes de diversos animales marinos. Al igual que en otras playas, se han instalado refugios tradicionales con techo de paja a lo largo de la orilla, lo que permite a los visitantes disfrutar de la agradable brisa marina y del sonido de las olas mientras se protegen del sol. El camino también cuenta con bancos de piedra y hormigón donde los visitantes pueden reunirse y socializar. En ese preciso momento, una embarcación realizaba su recorrido y varias personas llegaban a la playa. Durante el trayecto, también se pueden ver diversas plantas de Uvero, típicas de esta región, creciendo junto a las palmeras.

Continuing my tour of the San Luis area, I would like to share my visit to the beach of the same name. During my walk, I paused to watch some birds playing peacefully in the sea, keeping a respectful distance so I could photograph them. These feathered friends certainly know how to enjoy the ocean's charms; in all my visits to this spot, this was the first time I had seen so many pelicans together—fluttering about and, after performing various aerial acrobatics, swimming quite relaxed in the water.
After watching them for a few minutes, I took the path marking the entrance to the beach; it features white lettering on a blue background and is decorated with images of various marine animals. As with other beaches, traditional thatched-roof shelters have been set up along the shore, allowing visitors to enjoy the pleasant sea breeze and the sound of the waves while staying protected from the sun. The path also features stone and concrete benches where visitors can gather and socialize. Just then, a boat was making its rounds, and several people were arriving at the beach. Along the way, one can also see various Uvero plants—typical of this region—growing alongside the palm trees.
Tras observar las hermosas aves, me dirigí hacia la orilla, donde había varias embarcaciones amarradas; me gustó mucho esta vista, ya que el color de la arena contrasta maravillosamente con el azul del mar y del cielo. Más adelante, encontré más plantas de uva de playa y palmeras. Los senderos de la playa suelen estar flanqueados por vegetación y algunos cuentan con bancos en el lado derecho. Más adelante, se pueden ver las estructuras elevadas y las luces LED utilizadas para actividades deportivas nocturnas. Después de mi caminata, me senté bajo uno de los árboles de uva de playa para admirar y disfrutar de la hermosa vista de la playa; es una de mis favoritas gracias a su impresionante paisaje y a su excelente ubicación, a pocos metros del paso elevado. After watching the beautiful birds, I headed toward the shoreline where several boats were moored; I really liked this view, as the color of the sand contrasts beautifully with the blue of the sea and sky. Further along, I came across more sea grape plants and palm trees. The beach paths are generally lined with vegetation, and some feature benches on the right-hand side. In the next photo, we see the path again, surrounded by greenery, followed by two sea grape plants whose branches have intertwined to form a sort of bench—an ideal spot to rest and take in the scenery.
Moving forward, you can see the overhead structures and LED lights used for nighttime sports activities. After my walk, I sat beneath one of the sea grape trees to admire and enjoy the beautiful beach view; it is one of my favorites thanks to its stunning scenery and excellent location just a few meters from the overpass.
