Reacting to Gameplay Changes and Managing My Assets in @risingstargame

When you change the way things are done in a community (or a game), there are reactions that happen. Individuals come up with various strategies. These can have many kinds of consequences. Good design generates interesting interactions. These changes can keep a game alive when done well.

Drum Lessons are Attractive to Me

The reason for this specific attractiveness happened over 3 years. I have been playing @risingstargame for three years and have built up a good collection of Cards. I reinvested most of my earnings back into the game. I'm happy with my gameplay performance. I never cared about which specific Music Lesson I wanted to complete. They all take the same amount of time to complete and I pick the one that earn the highest amount of Skill.

Then came the fee for Music Lessons that cost 0.0002 STARPRO if the Lesson earns over 100 Skill. These changes split the Music Lessons for me. Guitar Lessons earns me the highest amount of Skill (130) and Drum Lessons is the second highest (76).

I Have Two Options

I could focus on buying more Instruments to increase the Skill gained from Guitar Lessons or focus on Drum Instruments. 99 Luck from Drums would be the best Stat to complete Music Lessons without paying STARPRO. There is no upper limit to how much Luck I should have from Guitar Cards.

The changes to Music Lessons did't make me more interested in STARPRO. It made me more interested in Instruments (specifically Drums). I don't know if the developers even intended this; but it did have a positive effect on the @risingstargame economy IMHO.

I'm Bullish on STARPRO

The prices are falling against $HIVE because HIVE itself have been doing well at the moment. I'm not even 100% sure that STARPRO will be worth 40+ HIVE again. What I am aiming for is a small scale diversification of my game assets. I do think STARPRO can be worth more than $8.29 in the next two years. I am very comfortable betting that STARPRO will increase its value against dollar + inflation.

Made Few Changes in Record Staking

I decided to take a look around and see if there are any things I can improve. Two Music NFTs with only 1 remaining NFT to be sold seemed like a good place to make some extra staking on (even 1,000 STARPRO could gain a ~1% stake):

The reverse apply to the Record I had staked 130,000 STARPRO on. There are 16 NFTs left to be sold and stake per 1,000 STARPRO was not even half of the two Records I increased the stake on. These are the final results.

HIVE Need More DAPPs

Different individuals like different things. If you like an idle game with NFTs and a music theme, we already have the right thing for you. If you desire something different, Hive Projects can help you find out if it already exist on HIVE. If you are a developer, you can build your own DAPP on HIVE. @vsc.network will make this process even easier in the future. Vote for Proposal 279 make sure the project receive the sufficient funds to remain active.

HIVE started out as an application specific blockchain for decentralized social media. The community kept building and HIVE itself is becoming more and more like Ethereum. HIVE can provide fast and feeless infrastructure for DAPPs. We already have microblogging features provided by @leofinance @dbuzz and @ecency

The other big niche that can easily onboard masses is games. @risingstargame has been doing a good job attracting thousands of users so far. These are not bad numbers for a Web 3 project. There has been continuous development of new features form the team. If more teams were building like this, HIVE can have a brighter future very soon.

Happy Gaming! Happy Investing!
