... train AI at dirt cheap prices (perfectly legal and students signed up for this). AI will be better at replicating academic work. The Inevitable will come even faster now!

Universities have been a very inefficient path to learn useful skill. AI may end up rewarding those who skipped higher education for a real education.

The best practice is just to go out and get a job doing something functional and realistic in the world.

In fact going and learning a simple skill like towing or construction or how to repair things? Absolutely changes everything.

That sucks! It's not enough students in America pay exorbitant amounts for studies, now their work is monetized too...

The value of a research paper is around $15. This is the most important statistic I realized. AI will be able to produce similar quality works for a fraction of a cent in a few years. Most of the money that was invested in academics may not even end up being worth the expense unless it is a very specialized field or of a degree is legally required for the profession.

Oh wow, I thought students wouldn't allow that lol. Now, what next? What's the point of going to college and get a degree?
