I think it isn't ready for consumer market really. But a good step for better readable displays.
Business could start optimize content for these, probably it's already happening.

It is good enough for some niche use cases. Playing videos and doing regular work will not be possible for many years.

i have my own eink monitor , 10 year battery life, i use it for nfts, yalatech was 12 bucks with shipping aliexpress

tweaking that monitor is same issues as i have laser engraving and working in monochrome and having to find peefect contrast when dealing with monochrome, not even as good as greyscale lol
