There are many ways people discover cryptocurrency projects. Many of them are expensive to achieve. Brand partnerships, ad campaigns and influencers are some of them. Positioning a project in a way where it is exposed to a large population is less capital intensive in the long run. For an example, with each project built on top of Ethereum or OpenAI, the base layer gets more attention. Similar things happened with Layer 2 projects of various blockchains. Thanks to @chrisrice I came across this YouTuber who covered multiple HIVE DAPPs after getting a taste of microblogging on @dbuzz and we gained few hundred new users. Most of them will likely leave after some time. I have come to realize that scams and poniz schemes are easier to sell that legitimate projects with sustainable goals.

We must keep the value of compounding gains in our minds and focus on the long term. Once Keychain is installed, onboarding users to other HIVE DAPPs become much easier. Every quality backlink to LeoGlossary helps with SEO. Building through the initial phase is the difficult part.

Wrapped Assets Reduce Friction and Create Exposure

LEO Bridge has been a valuable addition to HIVE. MetaMask and other Ethereum wallet users now have access to HIVE assets. We must accept the reality that it is difficult to convince a user to create an all new account to hold a new asset. LEO Bridge with it wrapped assets on Polygon and BNB Chain fixes this problem.

The most important feature of having multiple wrapped assets is that we don't need to convince an investor to buy a specific asset. If they are a gamer, we could tell them about SPS or DEC. If they want a legitimate decentralized stablecoin, we could show them $HBD.

Spreading ourselves too thin is a legitimate concern. This is especially true for $CUB and $POLYCUB rewards. I think having some Liquidity Pool even without rewards is better than having none. Being available on different chains reduce friction points within the onboarding funnel.

The Most Important Missing Piece for The 2024 Bull Market

Read the article linked above if you can. The main point I wanted to highlight is that we need to make it as easy as possible to buy HIVE assets. They will care more once they have a stake. This is why Airdrops become a powerful tool. Tell people about how $HIVE can help them. Get them to spend $50. People are fickle and the sunk cost could be the element that push them to explore what HIVE has to offer.

Even STEEM used to be a part of the list of wallets IIRC. This interoperability + ability to login with multiple wallets including MetaMask makes onboarding easy for Splinterlands. If it works for the biggest DAPP on the blockchain, shouldn't it work for other projects we have built.

Getting Users to Spend for Other People

Imagine getting some creators to add a link as I have done above. Imagine getting people to buy HBD on behalf of the content creator as a show of support.
