Yesterday was my 6th birthday on HIVE. Today is my 2nd time joining LEO Power Up Day. The first time I joined ended up with a 5,000 LEO Power delegation gifted by @dagger212 and it was a great experience. I want some first time LPUD users to get that delegation for July. I power up several times the minimum requirement of 150 $LEO every months. The only change I have to make is powering up part of it on 15th day of the month.

I will be powering up even with or without the incentives. A new user who worked hard to collect 150 LEO would feel far better appreciated and rewarded if after wining a delegation, It can push them to stick around longer and create more content on @leofinance and all the other amazing DAPPs on HIVE. Keep in mind that there are countries that have GDP per capita below $365.

Closer to 15K LEO Staked

Currently I have 4944.631 LEO Power. Ever since @khaleelkazi started talking about giving special perks based on LEO stake, I have been trying to increase my stake a a faster pace. Earlier I was happy growing it organically via payouts from my articles and comments. Then I switched to delegating most of my HIVE Power to earn 16% APR paid in LEO.

I was not doing curation as a way to make money. I have investments like $CUB $POLYCUB $SPS and many others working to make me wealthier over time. Curation was mostly fun.

It should be difficult to do worse that what I am doing here as a Dolphin. Not only I am earning 2.119X more APR through delegation, I also believe that $LEO has a chance to outperform $HIVE in the short to medium term market. That is another factor to keep in mind as a trader.

I never had a strong goal in terms of HIVE Power I wanted to achieve. What I wanted to see was a 1% vote that is worth at least $0.01. Now I want it to be $0.01. That would mean even the smallest vote I can cast over a front end would make the numbers go up for the author I'm voting for.

As a stretch goal, I would like to achieve the same level of impact through my LEO vote alone. It is more of a long term goal (unless we receive some sudden and well deserved spike in demand similar to what @splinterlands had in their rise to fame).

How long have you been on Hive?

I have been around since July 2017

How did you find Hive?

I came across STEEM as blockchain social media while doing cryptocurrency research. I checked out the project and it seemed worth checking out and making an account.

Why did you join Hive?

Originally I wanted to see how a blockchain social media would work and and I soon realized that it is the best large scale community I had ever come across. There were many smart people who I can have a real connection without even knowing their real names.

As you can see, I'm not a very complicated person. You probably related to many sections of the answers provided above. The potential to find such like minded people to share knowledge with is an extremely rewarding part of being on HIVE.

Fighting censorship and preserving/archiving knowledge is another blessing to have on HIVE. In fact, I mentioned about that in my 6th Birthday Celebration with a link to the oldest surviving printed book in the world translated (by amazing volunteers) and archived by yours truly.
