Another month has passed and I joined my third LEO Power Up Day! Anyone who Power Up 150 $LEO are eligible for prizes and this has caused a significant portion of liquid LEO to be staked. The result is that $LEO has become easier to pump as more demand is generated. Users who only have 50 $LEO to Power UP can participate although they would only be eligible for some of the prizes. Based on market conditions, even that could become a high ask for some users from the developing world.

My advice would be to Power UP while the prices are still low. Curation rewards can become a great source of $LEO. If you have some HIVE Power, a delegation to @leo.voter is the best avenue to participate in LPUD. This has been my exact strategy.

Does anyone remember SteemWorld created by @steemchiller? HiveTasks is the same for HIVE and it is brought to you by @fernandosoder. I don't know whether the code is open source. All I know is that it one of the best tools to manage activities on HIVE. Transactions can be signed using Keychain Extension which is already the preferred way of interacting with $HIVE for many users.

The Badges Are on The Way

When looking at these Badges, I had the idea of @leofinance providing special NFTs or some discounts each Badge held. There could be NFTs awarded for achievements such as 12 consecutive LPUD participation.

Expanding To Rest of The Ecosystem

Imagine there was a discount offered for each LPUD Badge when using LEO Bridge. There is no need to change existing smart contracts. The discount could come in the form of a rebate paid in $LEO.

A discount to the already low fees are not likely to drive users to buy more $LEO from the market. What I expect to see is a brand loyalty where long term fans offered rewards for being a consistent part of the community. The intention is to strengthen the Layer 0 of LEO.

DHF Proposal 269 easily one of the best written and most useful offers for growth of $HIVE and September 1st is ~2 weeks away. It is only asking for 495 HBD out of a 28,558.090 HBD Daily Budget. __This is only 1.73% of the total budget and the offer is to essentially double the among of active users on HIVE. We have already seen @leofinance team accomplish great things before. They are a credible team with years of verifiable activity on blockchain.

HIVE will not go anywhere far without good marketing. A Large portion of the activity came from one DAPP (@splinterlands) and this is not healthy for a blockchain. There needs to be more killer DAPPs and @leofinance has the potential to be that second DAPP to onboard users on a massive scale. All it takes is less than a minute of your time to vote!
