Daily Achievements, Recurring Payments and Promoting Your Blog With @risingstargame

Daily Achievements are one of the more recent additions to the game. It adds another layer of depth to many of the existing mechanics. Those who have been looking around the menu or reading the official blog should have come across this page and started earning STARDUST.

Setup Recurring "Bribes"

This is an easy and consistent path to earn STARDUST. It is an expense that would barely register for even the minnows. You will be spending a tiny fraction of a cent at the current market price of $HIVE.

I'm using @keychain to make the transfer. The game is logged in via Keychain Extention and for this reason, all users should have access to this UI to make transfers. It has taken years to develop Keychain to this stage and it comes with many Layer 2 features built in as an extra perk.

The intention was to commit with 1 HIVE and forget about the matter for the next ~3 years. This lead to an error and I had to make multiple attempts to get the transfer right.

HIVE Has Many Wallets and UIs

This is one of the best perks of being a part of a decentralized project. There is no central point of failure and there is no single way to experience the features offered. Multiple front ends is a great way to serve a large variety of user preferences. For times such as this, it is a smart idea to try what you want with a different UI.

@peakd is one of the most popular front ends for HIVE. It is a stable project with many more features on top of the vanilla https://hive.blog interface. What is more important for this task is that it allows recurring transfers.

This was a more helpful error message and eventually I figured out that I have to keep the daily transfer capped at 30 days for the transaction to work out. The following transaction worked flawlessly.

Promote Your Blog at Negligible Cost

I have written at length about Raves Drops. Click on the title to learn more and how to do them. Sponsoring one of these is a great way to reward the players while reducing STARBITS supply. At the current market prices, the cost is truly negligible.

Earning STARDUST is Not Too Hard

I would not call it easy by any means. Completing all of them in a single day and doing that for multiple days is going to be a very difficult task. What I aim to do is taking a moderate approach. This was another low hanging fruit I noticed. The names of the sponsors will on a list at the Raves. It does not create a level of exposure at the same level as Drops. I decided to go with 1,000 STARBITS for the community.

Slow Improvement of Player Count

The statistics are taken from @sentipl's weekly reports. It is a good sign to see the end of the drop we were seeing for some time. Most games have not been able to sustain 1000+ players while surviving for ~5 years. We must respect the team for all the effort they have made over the years.
