30X Return from Pack Opening + Rise of Tap 2 Earn Games

It has been many months since the last time I bought some Booster Packs for @risingstargame and I thought to change that and gain more Skill, Fans and other things. New players can get started here and start earning tiny amounts. Do not consider any of this as an income stream and treat the game as a game first and investment second. For those who have basic familiarity navigating a blockchain, the process should not be challenging. Use Keychain for login. It is the MetaMask equivalent of HIVE.

Time Your Purchase Around Special Missions

Groovy Summer is the ongoing Special Mission. There are few such Missions every year. One of the Special Cards are needed to complete these Missions that allow players to earn Cards that will only be available for few weeks. Once the printing stops (along with the Mission), there will be no more Cards created. Follow the link above to learn about the Cards that are part of Groovy Summer.

Buy 12 Packs At Once

If you can save up to buy 10 Packs in a single transaction, there are 20% Bonus Packs awarded. STARBITS price has fallen even more than $HIVE and it is very chap and accessible to open 12 Booster Packs. I have been playing the game since few months after the launch of the game. I have collected enough STARBITS for myself to make the purchase. In other words, I am reinvesting my gameplay Rewards.

I have more STARBITS on HIVE-Engine already and I will have more than 1 Million STARBITS which I need for another Special Purpose. You may guess what it is from the first screenshot :-)

Results of Opening 12 Packs

S78 Faith Acquired

The Legendary At The End

I did not go into Pack opening expecting a Legendary Card. It is very rare to get one of them in @risingstargame. There are only 3 Cards per Pack instead of 5 as in most other blockchain games I have seen. This difference may help to keep the Card inflation down. Keep in mind that all of these Cards have a real use in a real game rather than being a "Tulip" that can be owned and showed off to others. I prefer to spend on an NFT that has an intrinsic value.

Taking A Look At Market Value

Since we are in the later parts of the Groovy Summer Mission, the price for S78 Faith has become very cheap. If you are only interested in the Special Mission, buying the Card from the market might be the better option. What makes a massive impact on the value of 12 Packs opened is that one Legendary Card that is extremely Rare (and new to the game).

I am not even going to consider the value of the other Cards found in the Packs. Their combined value (without L80 Glyn Mellow) may or may to exceed the 100,000 STARBITS that was paid for the 36 Cards. I will use Tribaldex to check the value of HIVE price in STARBITS in order to make an easier comparison.

2,961,097 STARBITS at 0.67% Slippage

In other words, I have had a 30X return today from the purchase I mostly made for fun. This is unexpected and one of the luckier draws I have had being a part of blockchain gaming. Do not expect to get these type of results all the time. Over a large number of draws the lucky and unlucky draws tend to diminish each other's effect.

The Rise of Tap 2 Earn

I have been comparing @risingstargame idle games for after getting used to the game and wrote about this in multiple articles. Blockchain games are taking a page of those idle games (intentionally or as a coincidence) and we have articles such as this written about them. There is a clear interest and demand for a game like @risingstargame and what is lacking is an audience to try out the game.

If HIVE can get serious with onboarding more projects + users, they can easily get started with Keychain. Do not let the recent price activity discourage you from being a part of $HIVE. The price has been both higher and lower. It is possible to see a new ATH this bull market and that would be a 20X ROI. Stick around for the long term and manage your risk well. Diversification in moderate amounts is great. Invest in few projects you have researched well.

Best of Luck!
