Yesterday was a very important day for Xiaomi, as it was the day when the first units of the new Xiaomi SU7, an electric car that captured the attention of many buyers who placed their orders to eventually become owners, were delivered.

The first units were handed out at an internal event at one of the manufacturing plants, while more deliveries will be arranged in the coming days, knowing that this could extend for up to 7 months. There is no doubt that there is a lot of excitement, and people are starting to make their reservations to ensure they do not miss out on their electric car that excels in nearly every aspect, demonstrating the company's success and accuracy.

At the previous event on March 28, the company had officially presented some of the features of the Xiaomi SU7, including both technical information and pricing. On that day, in just 4 minutes, 10,000 orders were placed, doubling to 20,000 within 7 minutes, and after 27 minutes, there were over 50,000 reservations.

The day ended with exactly 88,800 orders, which is an incredible feat that positions the brand at its peak in the new industry it decided to be a part of. Something worth mentioning is that there was a pre-sale before the presentation where a customer could place an order and the money was held, with the option to request a refund after a few days. Xiaomi SU7 leaves more than one person speechless with its features that make this vehicle an interesting option.

Something I would like to mention is that the car incorporates a large number of parts from different manufacturers, where companies like Bosch, Continental, or Brembo can be found. This says a lot about the quality we can expect in a vehicle of these dimensions.

Finally, we find a range of up to 700 kilometers and a charge of 486 V in the standard version, which is not bad at all; at least I would consider it sufficient for a pleasant trip to a region of my country. For the Max version, the range increases to 810 km while its charge is at 871 V. At this point, the brand seems to mention wanting to surpass the power of a Porsche Taycan Turbo, which is the ultimate goal.
