Drones have become one of the technologies that we increasingly see outdoors. Whether for entertainment or for a specific purpose, they are among us and we are starting to feel them as part of our environment.

It is very likely that the market will offer drones with 4K cameras for sale, which represent incredible visual fidelity for transmitting quality videos. In fact, something I really enjoy is watching videos of tours around different cities of the world using drones. Yes, I believe it is a good way to explore the world without leaving home, and one truly has a great time, indeed!

This surely encourages the creation of new videos as well as an increase in the number of people willing to broadcast content through audiovisual platforms, or simply do streaming, because I believe that technology is available with current tools. However, should we talk about the convenience of manipulating these drones? How so?

Commonly, the way they are manipulated or controlled is through a remote control with antennas and a large screen offered by the same brand, or maybe using a simple mobile phone where you must run an app and adapt it to a control that you can get at any technology store. Although there is a much more immersive way, which is using goggles that will provide a higher level of control over the drone.

The DJI brand has recently introduced the Goggles N3, which greatly improve upon their previous version. Although we might consider some cuts to make the price quite affordable. The current model has a better balance, and the fact that it is much larger does not make it uncomfortable, quite the opposite. The weight distribution has been favored. We can even mention that in this model it is possible to wear glasses while the padding is sufficient to not feel any discomfort. When it comes to cuts, there has been a reduction in the screen.

The previous model had two micro-OLED screens, but in this new version, it was preferred to use a single 1080p LCD screen, which significantly increased the field of view, going from 44 to 54 degrees.

Regarding the transmission system, because we want what the drone sees to reach our eyes, the Goggles N3 support data transfer at a maximum bit rate of 60 Mbps. Its battery is integrated and provides up to 2.7 hours of autonomy, which is quite good in my opinion, although much less than its previous version that reached 3 hours.

We had previously mentioned the streaming feature. In this case, it is possible to access this feature, but to perform live streaming, we need to connect the mobile phone to a USB-C port, which could be a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stream live over Wi-Fi.

This model is compatible with RC Motion 3 and FPV Remote Controller 3. One of the features it has is a function that allows you to do flips and rolls with the push of a button. It also has an augmented reality function, which is super cool. But what I find much more interesting is that there is a defogging function that uses a fan to dissipate any fog that appears.

At this point, we might be wondering about the price. Well, the Goggle N3 is available for pre-order for $229, with shipments at the end of the month. It is also possible to order the DJI Neo Motion Fly More Combo package, which includes the Neo drone, the Goggle N3, an RC Remote 3 control, batteries, and a charging hub.

Something to clarify is that this model only works on the Avata 2 and Neo drones, so it must be kept in mind when making the final decision. However, they seem to be very good options from what we have delved into.
