Smartphones with native AI-based system | Samsung Galaxy AI - S24
It is not news that CES 2024 has left very good impressions regarding what future technology can offer. On this particular occasion, it was seen that many of the devices included artificial intelligence; perhaps that was the critical point of interest.

In the most influential event of all time held in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the most anticipated smartphones was present, not only because of the recurring updates that make anyone curious, but also because it would be something completely new. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 was causing a buzz.
When it comes to innovation, we have seen that the brand had greatly improved what it is known as foldable screens. A technology that was refined more and more to the point where manufacturing issues were reduced, as it was very common to see excessive wear and tear on the screen when folding the device. This seems to have ceased to be a problem to worry about.
A lot of effort was also made to improve the zoom capability of the smartphone cameras, with an optical zoom of up to 100X and significant improvements in the lens. That was undoubtedly something they managed to perfect and it makes one wonder what else they can improve.
Considering it important to solve any inconvenience allows us to access and advance on other types of technology, and as we said before, artificial intelligence dominated the conference center.

Samsung Electronics presented its next high-end smartphone at a press conference. This time entirely built under a system called Galaxy AI, or at least that is the code name it was given for now. From the name, we can assure that its system will be equipped with all the functionalities that bring a great user experience facilitated by AI.
In just a few hours, the official presentation of the device will take place through a livestream at an event called Galaxy Unpacked, which will reveal any doubts or suspicions about what this new technology, which is surprising everyone, will bring. Not only because of the expectations that can be expected from it but also because it could be included in other devices based on the Android system.
What could we really expect?
On a previous occasion, Samsung had revealed some of the additions that the S24 would have, and one of them is real-time translation of text and voice. What this would allow is for a person from a foreign country who speaks a different language than ours to be able to communicate with us and we can understand each of their words in our native language. This is undoubtedly a big bet since we wouldn't need any external application or hardware to do this job, but it would come already incorporated.

In my opinion, it could have a favorable impact in every way and could completely eliminate the language barrier, allowing people, regardless of the field they work in, to communicate without any restrictions. I even think it could be very helpful in the workplace or university if this idea expands to other devices and is replicated in new technologies.
Another thing that is coming is the ability to zoom with AI improvements. This means that artificial intelligence would complete or draw the image to which zoom has been applied, defining what is pixelated. Usually, when we zoom more than 10X, we notice that we lose sharpness; this could be covered thanks to this technology.
Samsung might be the catalyst in this new industry. Just as an example that comes to mind, Apple might have to include AI as a base in its future devices in order not to fall behind in the market and the construction of a new era.
I don't mean anything, but Counter Research estimates very accurately about the future of 2027, in which by the end of that year, more than a billion smartphones will be shipped that are built and include native artificial intelligence.
My position regarding this is one of total enthusiasm. Many times I have said that technology is advancing much more rapidly and we are progressing decades in just a few years. Without a doubt, we will see great things from now on, but the question is, are we prepared to experience what we couldn't have imagined?
