Bing Chat can now create AI-generated images too. No waiting list and it's free.
Bing Chat kann jetzt auch AI-generierte Bilder erzeugen. Es gibt keine Warteliste und es ist sogar gratis.
Bing verwendet dafür eine Version von DALL-E 2 und man kann direkt von Bing Chat mit dem Prompt "create an image ..." ein Bild oder ein Kunstwerk generieren lassen.
Man bekommt dann 4 Versionen in einer Auflösung von 1024x1024 zurück. Nicht schlecht.
Es gibt auch ein eigenes Web-Interface für die Bildgenerierung, Image Creator genannt. Bing verspricht dass man ohne Warteliste sofort loslegen kann, aber man muss sich registrieren und bekommt dann 100 Boost-Punkte, die sich jeden Tag wieder aufladen.
Ein Prompt kostet 1 Boost.
Bin mir nicht sicher, ob man ohne Boosts Bilder generieren kann oder ob es dann einfach langsamer wird. Ein Prompt mit 4 Bildern dauert so circa 20 Sekunden mit einem Boost.
Die generierten Bilder haben übrigens links unten ein dezentes Wasserzeichen integriert. Ein graues Bing-Logo mit einem grauen Farbverlauf.
Habe auch ein paar "nsfw"-Prompts getestet, aber diese werden sofort geblockt. Responsible AI 😂
Für den Image Creator muss man übrigens nicht zwingend Edge verwenden, sondern die Web-App funktioniert auch in anderen Browsern.
Bin auch gespannt, wann Bing Chat die visuellen Features von GPT-4 integriert.

Bing Chat can now generate AI-generated images too.
Bing uses a version of DALL-E 2 for this and you can generate an image or artwork directly from Bing Chat with the prompt "create an image ...".
You get back 4 versions of the image in a resolution of 1024x1024. Not bad.
There is also a separate web interface for image generation, called Image Creator. Bing promises that you can get started right away without a waiting list, but you have to register and then you get 100 boost points that recharge every day.
A prompt costs 1 boost.
Not sure if you can generate images without boosts or if it just slows down then. A prompt with 4 images takes about 20 seconds with one boost.
By the way, the generated images have a discreet watermark integrated in the lower left corner. A gray Bing logo with a gray gradient.
Also tested a few "nsfw" prompts, but they are blocked immediately. Responsible AI 😂
By the way, you don't have to use Edge for Image Creator, the web app works in other browsers too.
Am also curious when Bing Chat will integrate the visual features of GPT-4.

I'll try it to see if it works better than others, although the watermark thing throws me off a bit.
Yeah, also dont like having it watermarked, other generators use hidden watermarks at least.

Another alternative to improve our skills.
Kann man damit Varianten erstellen? Kann man upscalen? Wie macht man damit negative Prompts?
Bing Image Creator hat noch nicht so viele Features, negativer Prompt angeblich mit "not ..." oder "without ..." laut KI, noch kein Upscaler oder auch kein Variations-Feature wie bei Stable Diffusion.
Their prompt algorithm is too restrictive for me and you can generate images without boost points but it'll take longer. If you want more freedom I'd suggest openart.ai (you'll get access to lots of ai models). They even give u 500 susbcription credits for free .

I have never tested bings generated images but I imagine it would have similar issues such as other AI is the accuracy. I imagine people would really need to modify the prompts to get a good image.
