Snail Without Shell (Res-res poh)

after returning from a long trip, this afternoon I immediately went back to hunting for several objects in the garden as usual, and I visited an oil palm plantation, because there are many things I can find there, like what I found this time, namely a snail, but very different from some of the snails that I found, these snails can be said to be naked or without shells, have you ever seen them?

I found this snail walking on some leaves of a Mangosteen tree, I almost stepped on it, luckily my eyes were a little quick to respond, there was something alive there.

I tried to explore this snail with a fern leaf, because I was sure both would make a very beautiful photo, I slowly placed the snail on the fern leaf

because he doesn't have a shell, he only hides his eyes when touched, we call it in our language that is (lintah situk) or in other languages Res-res poh

when I was editing this photo, I suddenly thought about how when it rains and he starts to get cold where he will take shelter 😁, do you think so too, ah never mind this is just a silly thought 😃, maybe he didn't experience this, from the texture The skin looks so thick, I'm sure each creation has its own advantages

After taking several pictures, I immediately released the snail back into nature, so that he could meet his friends there again, it will always be fun if we are in nature, we can see all the beautiful things that live there.

Thank you very much for looking at some of my photos, maybe that's the case, it's just that they have to look for a place to shelter, because they don't have a shell

I think this is the first time I have seen a snail without a shell, I even had the silly idea that without a shell they could not live, you learn something new every day. Incredible pictures my friend!

your thinking is not wrong and makes sense, indeed if a snail basically has a shell, it will die if there is no shell because they are fused together, but this is a snail which basically has no shell, maybe another side that differentiates the two
