Monomad : Green Caterpillar with an interesting sleeping style

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.

Yesterday afternoon I went hunting again in one of the oil palm plantations in my area, the weather was very hot and I wanted to look for some insects that live there.

not long there I was surprised to see several caterpillars sleeping in a very strange model, this is the first time I have seen caterpillars like this which really have very strong resistance in their legs so they sleep in a standing position, did you know that when I saw this I immediately remembered one of the monsters in anime films 😀

This caterpillar is green, has black spots all over its body, and I saw that there were only six of them on the head, the stomach was smooth unlike normal caterpillars, I tried touching the head very hard and they still didn't feel disturbed

looks cute but a little scary, there are usually not many of these caterpillars here and they are all asleep

My efforts to wake up this caterpillar were almost successful, I tried taking wood and wrapping it around its stomach

Finally I managed to wake him up and it turned out he was walking very fast, and walking like a leech. Of the many shots, only one shot was good with a caterpillar body shape like the letter N

In the first few macros the long neck of the caterpillar reminds me of the Loch Ness Monster "Nessie!"

Great photographs! @vikar🐛

You are right, this caterpillar looks like a mustard from several close-up shots, at first glance it also looks like a large eel

Very beautiful caterpillars, I rarely see caterpillars without hair and they look very adorable

That's right, this caterpillar looks more adorable because it doesn't have full fur on its body and doesn't have as many legs as other caterpillars

It seems to be the kind of inch caterpillar whose path always crawls upwards
