Fungi Friday : three beautiful mushrooms for today
This is one of my contributions to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw hopefully I can always give my best from the previous day.
Yesterday morning the weather was drizzling a bit and after waiting for a while I went straight to the location where I was looking for mushrooms and my destination was an oil palm plantation because almost all the gardens here contain oil palms and they are very scattered with some fronds.
Not long after I was there I saw two brown toadstools growing on one of the dead oil palm tree trunks. The size of these mushrooms was larger than normal mushrooms, and had stems like wood.
This fungus belongs to the mushroom species Lentinus where the top of the umbrella is not flat, and after rain like this there is water collected there
one of the two mushrooms has a different shape and the umbrella is also small, possibly unstable growth
then not far from the first place there is another unique mushroom, from behind it looks like skin, hard and plain, the shape is also unique,
I don't know what type of mushroom this is, but from the front there are several fine spots that fill the surface area of the mushroom
I headed to the next garden where in this garden there were several large logs that had been cut down and were rotten, usually lots of wood ear mushrooms grew there, and after looking in several places I found the mushrooms Jamur kuping merah, but the shape is unique, usually plain and smooth but this time they have a root-like motif. I just saw it myself
The other one is wrinkled and has a strange shape too
in between the small pieces of wood I saw one white mushroom but there were three smooth red animals hiding in the gaps in the mushroom motif

Very cool mushrooms.
thank you for the good comment
What peculiar mushrooms you have found, dear friend @vikar, I have never seen a lentinus mushroom with a wood-type stem before. All the mushrooms you show us are really beautiful, but the last variety is very striking. What you have found is excellent, you are very kind to have shown us
Have a beautiful night
