Fungi Friday : Hunt for Some Mushrooms in the Palm Oil Plantation

avatar

This is one of my contributions to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw hopefully I can always give my best from the previous day.

good evening all friends, this special Friday I will try again to participate in some of my mushroom shooting results this afternoon when I was hunting in one of the oil palm plantations, and I got four species of mushrooms there

as usual, at around four in the afternoon I tried to take a moment to explore several gardens in my area to look for some mushrooms that grow there, because lately the weather has been unpredictable in the fields and it has been raining, unexpectedly when I got there the first mushroom I found was mold

white, which have very hard skin, they grow on large tree trunks and grow quickly in groups, what differentiates them from other mushrooms is that the bottom has fine spots like honeycombs, I myself recently saw a mushroom like this, this mushroom belongs to the fungal species Pseudohydnum gelatinosum

While I was focusing on taking photos of the white mushroom, I looked at another log like a mushroom, and was this really a mushroom? I also doubt it looks like roots

because there were a lot of piles of rotten trees there, I then saw another small mushroom, it was brown and the edges of the mushroom were not neat, I didn't know this mushroom, from the front the color was a little white mixed with yellow

Guess what I found last, yes I found a type of mushroom that was no longer intact, almost all parts had rotted due to heavy rain,

Some others are also starting to rot little by little and brown spots can be seen on the umbrella strands from under the fungus

because it was starting to rot, the smell was also coming out which was not pleasant, I immediately went home and didn't linger there any longer, and this is my hunting area today, an oil palm plantation owned by someone in my area
