Time to batten down the hatches!!

That's right we have cyclone Alfred category 2 on course for a direct hit on Brisbane Australia in the next 36 hours....

The Gale force wind are about to start anytime soon and the swell at the beach has been pumping the last two days!!!

So many surfers have been getting tow ins from jetskis. But it's "death on a stick out there"

The imbeciles have already cleared out all the toilet paper at the shops. And most of the shelf's are bare.

And the line up for sandbags have been ongoing through out Brisbane the past 24 hours...

So we have been cutting down trees around the house and clearing all the debris from the back yard that could turn into torpedos as winds are expected to hit up to 165km/hr

They are expecting lots of flooding across south east Queens land and Northern New South Wales.
With over 750mm possible to fall from Brisbane Queensland to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.

There hasn't been a cyclone hit Brisbane since the 70s so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next couple of days.
Here is a photo from my veranda just now. It's just light rain and a bit of wind at the moment so let's see how this play out.

Stay safe out there and I'll see you on the other side 💨⛈️💦🌀

But on a lighter note

Looks like it settled down quite a bit from what it could have been!

Yes it downgraded to a tropical low by the time it hit Brisbane this morning thank goodness.
But still alot of rain incoming they think.

Stay safe! I've been through many hurricanes in the Caribbean. People just panic too easily, but keeping food and water stocks is always smart!

The cyclone hit Brisbane this morning as a tropical low, so now where near as bad of a storm as predicted thankfully!
I totally understand getting enough food and water stock. But people buying all the toilet paper really is very confusing !LOL

People can be real morons when they're scared, saw the same thing happen in Philadelphia every time a major snowstorm was coming. They would clear the shelves in stores, and toilet paper would be one of the items to run out too...

Yeah I bet all the insurance companies are trying to work out ways not to pay. Fingers crossed it won't be as bad as the media is making it out to be.

If your policy covers the insured event that caused damage or loss to your insured property, then you're covered.
Simple as that :-)

If you need help with any claims, pleaes let me know. I'm happy to volunteer my claims management expertise to people needing it.
