Shore of Milford Sound New e

I'm back again with another photo from our trip to New Zealand.
And this week I would like to share with you a shot I took while exploring around the shore of Milford Sound.
Milford Sound is one of New Zealands famous destinations to visit. Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island.
This place is just breath taking.
The mountains going straight up into the clouds made for a very moody landscape.

oh i LOVE milford sound
I went there a couple of times as a kid and on walking tours with school and uni.
such a pretty place.
gorgeous photo... look at that water!!!

Did you climb some of the huge mountains on the walking tour?
yes we did the big 4 day (i think) milford track. staying in tents and little cabins along the way. have also been down and collected little shellfish in the bays. we stayed in a house along there one time. it was so wonderful. thankfully we had a boatman who followed us along the stops on on a couple of the days so we didn't need to carry our big packs for 4 whole days. luxury that was!
