Skate trip from Brisbane to Gladstone

So I used to be sponsored by a skate shop in Brisbane " Skatebiz"
And a couple of times a year they would take us on road trips around Australia to do some skate demos and lessons.

These were always the best time. Getting to skate different parks and get the kids all hyped always put a smile on my face.

Gladstone is about a 6 hour drive north from Brisbane. And we had a good turn out at Gladstone skatepark.

We held a Skateboard, BMX, Scooter and inline comp at the skatepark.

The slate park has some nice ledges a good box jump an awesome down rail and quality quarter pipes. with a nice flow of the park it was perfect for a little comp for the locals with lots of prizes from skatebiz and VC Clothing.

Next stop was Boyne Island.
That skatepark here has a awesome banked box, and a realy nice halpipe.

We did the same thing here a demo and little comp for the locals with lots of prizes and giveaways.
One of the BMX riders dislocated his shoulder so we had to call the ambos to put it back in for him.

On the way home at a toilet stop we found so many dead rhino beetles! and a snake skin.

Stopping off at Woodgate skate park where the local kangaroos watched us shred. Australia AF
