Happy sweet sixteen to king Zeus 🎉🎉

Wow what an amazing milestone.
And what better way than to celebrate with a dog cake made out of sweet potato and peanut butter.

Zeus absolutely loved it.

I gave Zeus a bath just before I gave him the cake so he looks a bit wet in these photos haha.

I love that he still will hang out with me every day in the shed. Still hold the record for VC employee of the month! 156 months and counting.

He is my constant companion during the long and treacherous hours of work, his loyal eyes peering up at me, as if urging me on, reminding me of the purpose behind my work.

Sixteen years of loyalty, resilience, and unspoken understanding. Zeus had seen me at my best and my worst. He had become more than a mere pet, he was an extension of my soul, a guiding force in my life.

I am so grateful to have spent so many great years together ❤️

Even though now you like to sleep alot all day and your back hips take a bit to get warmed up in the morning. You still have the drive to come into the shed everyday and hang out with me while I work.
You have always been my shadow 🙂
