Devil's staircase My entry to around the world challenge
G'day hive,
I have been working on some blogs from our trip to the South island of New Zealand but haven't had the time to finish them and edit all the photos. Work has just been way too crazy! But hopefully I will be able to share these blogs with you all soon.
That being said here is my entry to @bucipuci around the world challenge number 43/4.

This week I would like to share a photo I took of the devil's staircase in Queenstown New Zealand.
The roads here have the most amazing scenery and views, its crazy! We were driving back from a town called Kingston to Queenstown and found ourself driving along the devil's staircase.
This road runs alongside lake Wakatipu and it's no joke, it's very narrow and super windy as it weaves it way along the lake (which it is where it got its name from) with the mountains on the other side.
This is a notorious stretch of the New Zealand State highway Route 6. As many tourists have crashed on this stretch of road.
So as you could guess I was a little bit disappointed to find out that there is actually no devil nor staircase at this location. None the less it still made for a great photo opportunity 🙂
