Why? The answer is clear: for maintaining the appearance of global technological supremacy.
The real question is WHEN?
WHEN the criminals who has done all these satanic tricks will be prosecuted.

It is easy to speculate. What if they were hiding what they found on the moon? There are any number of possibilities. Some kind of evidence is necessary before reasonable conjectures become better than pure speculation.
They didn’t found anything because they were not there, @valued-customer. They wouldn’t insist on their hoax if they were really there and then try to hide something. Your logic is faulty.
USA is an Empire of lies, and all they have are lies.
What would they do? Pretty sure they would lie, and fake pics. What do you think they would do?
If they were there they would have superior space technology. They would already send teams on Mars. But they do not have it. They buy rocket motors from Russia.
If they were there they would have no problems with energy… But they are importing oil, gas and enriched uranium from – Russia!
If they were there and found some alien weapon technology, they would use it. But they are losing war with Russia.

I see no reason to expect that. Reverse engineering technology based on unknown scientific understanding requires gaining that scientific understanding. Much science is based on fundamental principles, that not understanding renders everything dependent on them incomprehensible.
A good example of this is the megalithic constructions around the world that obviously required rendering the native stones used plastic. The marks of trowels used to smooth and generally shape those stones remains on their surfaces, and despite this obvious evidence that has been available for centuries no one yet has been able to replicate this technology and actually understand how these structures were built. Such very basic technology involving common materials would be likely to be far simpler to understand than anything we'd find on the moon or Mars, yet we are completely baffled how it was done.
Just because we know someone did something doesn't mean we know how to do it ourselves. Perhaps your assumptions regarding such technology would be rational if you yourself understood it and were therefore able to support your assumptions with actual evidence. Instead you project on me such imagination, which does not support your claims, but rather rhetorically dodges the need for such support. That won't support your assumptions.

I don't assume anything. I agree that pics and video NASA created are fake. There's a lot of evidence that shows that beyond a shadow of doubt. I don't know why. I know there is a reason NASA has spent a lot of money, time, and resources of create fake pics and video, but I don't know what that reason is. There are multiple possibilities and no evidence that any of them are THE reason, or one of the reasons. Absent such evidence, all I can say is that I don't know why they did it, and that makes me want to find evidence that indicates what reason or reasons they had for doing it.
This is why I bring this up. If we just assume it's this or that, we won't look for the evidence that establishes why they did it because we think we already know. That evidence will provide us insight into how we can prevent them from achieving whatever they sought to achieve by lying to us, which is always harmful to the victims. We're being harmed in a lot of ways, lied to about a lot of things, already, and I don't like any of it. I want to prevent the harm being done to us by this lie, and knowing why they're lying will enable us to understand what they don't want us to know. That will overcome all the money and power they've expended to conceal the truth, defeating yet another weapon our enemies wield against us.

Japanese and Koreans believe that Russia and China deny America's moon landing because the United States has a monopoly on lunar secrets.
I think the United States surpasses Russia and China because to date, the United States is the only one to have landed a man on the moon.
I believe that the United States will win the battle against Russia and China only if it builds the first manned base on the moon.😃
Our present leadership does not give me any confidence the USA will ever establish a base on the moon. China seems hot on it, though.
