As centralized supply lines are collapsed in the ME oil supply destruction, people will be left with no alternative sources for products other than local manufacture. Because decentralized means of production are today widely distributed across populations, folks will seek to provide products to fill gaps in globally distributed supplies. Increasingly people will themselves make what they need, as they learn about and acquire personal means of production of what they need.
