NVIDIA Unveils Isaac GROOT N1 Model

NVIDIA is advancing the GROOT N1 Model as a foundational model for future home and industrial robots, focusing on robotics and artificial intelligence. This development was disclosed at the AI conference in San Jose, CA which started on March 17. The goal is to accelerate the development of robotics and artificial intelligence, to create robots with human-like cognitive processes. NVIDIA seeks to offer an open-source foundational model called Isaac GROOT N1, provide a large dataset for training purposes, and emphasize the importance of robotics in the future. The foundational model GROOT N1 incorporates dual thinking (fast and slow models) to mimic human cognitive processes, enhancing robot functionality and decision-making.


ARK Invest Funds Apptronik to Boost Humanoid Robotics Innovation

ARK Invest joined a $403 million Series A funding round for Apptronik, a Texas-based humanoid robotics company, to accelerate the production of its flagship robot, Apollo, designed for industrial tasks. The funding aims to address labor shortages and automation challenges in manufacturing and logistics industries by integrating advanced AI with robotics. The funding round was announced on Tuesday, January 18. Apptronik was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from the University of Texas. The funding round was oversubscribed and attracted high-profile investors like Mercedes-Benz, Google, and Japan Post Capital. ARK Invest integrated Apptronik into its Ark Venture Fund to support the company's growth and innovation in the robotics industry.

Awesome picks. I've lately flirted with the idea of getting a Pixel, although no commitment yet, it does seem like the logical next device to explore after running through Redmi and Samsung for a while now.

That said, interesting what's happening in the world of AI, looks like in no time, there will be a major shift in what works the labor industry.

It's awesome that INLEO has decided to go the open-source route, that's one step closer to being a more decentralized social platform atop Hive than any other L2 interface.
