Leading fintech provider, Revolut has partnered with Ledger, a leader in hardware security, to join Ledger Live as a buy provider. This collaboration enables Revolut users to seamlessly convert fiat currency into cryptocurrencies directly within the Ledger Live app, ensuring enhanced security through the self-custody of assets. The integration allows for faster transactions with Revolut's trusted platform, bypassing additional ID checks. Google Launches Gemini Live AI and Pixel 9 Series
Google launched Gemini Live AI and Pixel 9 series at Made by Google event 2024. Google Live allows users to have real-time conversations with Gemini, interrupting it mid-response without pressing a button. Gemini Live is multimodal and requires a $20 monthly Google One AI Premium subscription. The Pixel 9 series and Pixel 9 Fold Pro were also launched, with significant upgrades and on-device AI features. More AI-powered apps and devices, such as a screenshot app and the Add Me feature in the camera app, were introduced. Interestingly, Gemini Live can be used hands-free. xAI launches Grok-2 with Image-generation capabilities
xAI has launched a new version of Grok, Grok-2, with image-generation capabilities for users on the X platform. This is to provide users with advanced AI capabilities, improve text and vision understanding, and enhance real-time information generation. The new version of Grok, Grok-2, is being released to subscribers gradually. Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini are collaborations between xAI and Black Forest Labs, aiming to balance response time and the quality of information transmitted to users.
