Rabbit R1 - Life beyond Smartphones

Teenage Engineering, a Swedish technology firm, has developed a device about the size of a single pack of sticky notes (smaller than a deck of cards) and fits easily in a pocket known as Rabbit R1. Rabbit uses a Large Action Model (LAM) from OpenAI (which developed ChatGPT) to understand the user's voice requests.

This small, AI-powered device "Rabbit R1” offers a "post-smartphone experience. It uses AI to understand a user's voice commands and run multiple applications on the user's behalf, eliminating the need to navigate individual apps.

TORVICE - The Real Terminators

The UK, Australia, and the US (AUKUS) have recently collaborated to run a trial known as Trusted Operation of Robotic Vehicles in Contested Environments (TORVICE). The purpose of this experiment is to test the resilience of autonomous systems against modern electronic warfare and cyber threats. The TORVICE trial saw US and British autonomous vehicles conducting reconnaissance missions while Australian units simulated battlefield electronic attacks on their systems. The goal of the creation was to gauge the resilience of these systems when under attack. We can call TORVICE - The Real Terminators

Solana Blockchain Halts & Restarts

Among all the problems the Solana blockchain has faced, the halts in the operations might be the biggest. Data from Bard by Google states that in September 202, the outage was for approximately 16 hours. In December 2021, there were two separate outages, one for 7 hours and another for 21 hours. In January 2022, major outages lasting for 47 hours happened. In September 2022, the outage lasted for around 3 hours. In October 2022, the outage lingered for roughly 1.5 hours. The recent Solana Blockchain Halts caused an outage for more than 4 hours where no blocks were produced. It restarted afterward.
