Until AI gains intelligence, I will not consider it an equal interlocutor. And therefore, I will not be interested in having conversations with it.

Was just talking to a friend about this. It doesn't need to gain general intelligence - it just needs to be good enough in enough areas that it can draw upon, and then combine them into a single interface. You wouldn't know the difference.
