What's new

New account to write a dev log

I have created the hive account for posting the dev logs about the Universal bot. I am unsure if this is a good move, but I will try. My main reason for doing so is to avoid a mess of other types of posts I am trying to write regularly. That way, there can be one nice place for all the bases.

New code for Console App

Last two weeks, I have been rewriting the code for the console app. I used the Microsoft create host controller, which helped me improve the code slightly. I also have introduced a more resilient service to control the workers. The worker is part of the code responsible for executing the Actions.

The main reason for the new CLI(Command Line Interface, the type of UI which si designed to run in a terminal, meaning there is no visual user interface(UI)) code was that, due to my changes, I had a broken scheduler kick-start (i.e. it stopped working). Additionally, I was not very happy with the scheduler I was using, and I have decided t change it to sth better. I think that the CLI code is

IChange in GitHub release numbering.

I have dropped the build number (in typical software versioning scheme, it is the last number in the version), so from now, I will follow the semantic versioning, which means there will be only 3 numbers in the version.
