My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 182 - Avocado Tree and Lichen Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Wednesday, August 28, 2024

For my entry in Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 182 today, I'd like to share a batch of very cool photos, that I took on Monday, in the late-afternoon sun, of an avocado tree, a lichen growing on it, and their reflections in my ever-trusty portable mirror. The photos were taken about head-level, against the avocado tree, from various angles.

I come to this tree often to take photos, both of the lichen growing on its bark, and shots looking straight up the trunk of the tree to its crown. The photos looking up the trunk are my favorites, as I just love that up-tree perspective. I hope that y'all enjoy them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
