CATERPILLARS (Olene mendosa)
Hello friends, good evening and good luck with your respective activities, so on this happy evening I want to share a picture of a type of moth or hairy caterpillar.
I found this caterpillar in a forest area close to my house. This moth was eating the leaves of green plants that grow in the forest. On the bodies of these caterpillars there are very fine and pointy hairs with very large numbers. These caterpillars are included in the category of pests that are detrimental to humans because they can attack plants in large numbers in an instant, therefore they are also known as very greedy eaters. Another function of the feathers on their bodies is to protect them from threats they receive, for example if we touch the feathers we will experience very severe itching, they can also shed their feathers at bullies.
The original color of this caterpillar is that it is predominantly white, the side of the head is red, the lower abdomen is red, while the feathers all over its body are white and on the upper part of its body there are yellow feathers piled up. The characteristic of this caterpillar is that it has hairs that pile up on its body.
OK, friends, this is all I can say, hopefully it's useful, thank you and see you.
