How Technology is Transforming Children Learning

i was thinking about how technology is changing kids learning nowdays. it feels a bit all over the place honestly. like one moment i am thinking its amazing. then next moment i am like hmm not sure.

kids now they dont really sit with heavy books like before. everything is on screens. tablets phones apps videos. and it is so fast. too fast sometimes.

i saw this small kid in a shop once. he was maybe 7 or 8. he was not even reading a book. just sitting there with a phone watching some learning video. colors moving fast sounds popping up. and he was just focused like nothing else exists. i stood there for a bit thinking this is learning now.

and yeah it works. they learn things quick. alphabets numbers even languages from random youtube videos. like they just absorb it without even trying too hard. but then i also feel like something is missing maybe. not sure what exactly.

because when i was younger learning was slow. boring sometimes. chalk dust boards teachers repeating same thing again and again. and you had to actually sit with it. no skipping no fast forward.

now everything is instant. ask a question and boom answer is there. even my cousin just talks to phone and gets meaning of words instantly. no waiting no struggle. kind of crazy if you think deeply.

but also yeah its noisy. like too many apps too many distractions. one minute studying next minute games next minute something else popping up. kids brain is always switching. i dont know if that is good or just confusing in long run.

and schools also changing slowly. teachers using screens videos quizzes interactive stuff. kids like it more obviously. less boring for them.

but sometimes i think what about writing with hand. thinking slow. sitting with problem. that patience thing maybe getting less. i saw a kid struggling to write sentence properly but he could type super fast. maybe that is normal now or maybe just me thinking old style.

anyway technology is everywhere in learning now. like fully mixed into it. not separate thing anymore. kids growing inside it like it was always like this. and honestly i dont even know how it will look in few years. it just keeps changing and changing and we just watching it happen.
