If you still don't get what you just saw, an en caul birth is a rare event where a baby is born while still inside the amniotic sac. This is an extremely rare event, with about 1 in 80k births being an en caul birth.

I guess it's the closest thing we can get to watching an embryo growing inside her mother!

En caul is a term used to describe the birth of a fetus and placenta entirely encased in an un-ruptured amniotic sac. Also colloquially referred to as a “mermaid” or “veiled” delivery, en caul births are uncommon in obstetrics literature and, therefore, exceedingly rare in the emergency department. While en caul delivery is rare in obstetrics literature, occurring in less than 1 in 80,000 vaginal deliveries, it can be inferred that emergency department delivery of an en caul fetus is exceedingly rare source
