Phone photography #85 / An encounter with children who help protect the beaches of Havana, Cuba

At the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, where I work, there is a department of Regional Geology. Researchers in this area, in Environmental Geology and Knowledge Management, had an exchange with children from an interest group called "Guardians of the Beaches."
They are dedicated to protecting these geographical features.
We gave them some actions they could take to fulfill their mission, and it was truly a wonderful encounter because the project we are carrying out has to do with the Coastal Vulnerability Index of all Cuban beaches and the causes that generate processes that affect the good behavior of beaches, such as coastal flooding.
It was a beautiful encounter, and I have decided to capture it in this publication.
Note: I used DeepL Translate.
The photos used are my own, taken with my Samsung J2 phone.
