This is a very clear and helpful explanation of cross-chain technology, I didn't have the knowledge of this technology before. This serve as an eye opener.
I like the way you compared each blockchain to a city and cross-chain to the roads between them, it certainly makes it easy to understand. I also agree that using cross-chain helps avoid centralized exchanges and gives us more freedom.

You are right, blockchain is all about giving freedom, which is why decentralization is the most important factor. We can't separate decentralization from blockchain; both are connected. Thanks for comment
