Sergio Leone, who discovered Almería in 1964 for his western, decided to return to Almería in 1965 to film his film Death Has a Price. According to those who know the genre best, it is the best film of the Dollar Trilogy and one of the highest-grossing films in the history of cinema. 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of El Manco, starring Clint Eastwood, and it took things to the next level.

Clint Eastwood as El Manco and Colonel Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef) are two men who make their living murdering and bounty hunting. That means bringing bad guys to justice. The two look for a criminal called El Indio (Gian María Bolonte) and decide to join forces to catch him as quickly as possible. The agreement involves dividing the compensation they receive equally. El Manco is a strong man with great skill with a revolver, but the Colonel, on the other hand, prefers to use his head. As two people with very different personalities, it is understandable that misunderstandings arise. That was the plot of the movie.

The music was provided by virtuoso Ennio Morricone, whose works of art combined simple whistle melodies, beautiful musical strings and pendants.

Clint Eastwood played the role of El Manco, a man with a cold personality and hot blood. El Indio is a difficult man to free who wants to do the whole movie. He is an obsession. Lee Van Cleef plays Colonel Douglas Mortimer. The cold and ingenious colonel seeks out the Indians to avenge the rape and suicide of his sister (daughter in Spanish). He has a sharp personality but a warm heart. He wears black mourning clothes and carries a gun, making him deadly.
