"Where We Belong" is a 1982 song and the theme song to the 1982 film An Officer and a Gentleman. The single was composed by Jack Nitsche and Buffy Sainte-Marie, with lyrics by Will Jennings and performed by Joe Cocker with Jennifer Warnes.

The song was Joe Cocker's first and only hit in the United States. Also, for Jennifer Warnes, it's her first since 1987's The Time of My Life (which I have). In 1983 it won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. A year later, he won a BAFTA. Cocker and Warnes also won a Grammy Award for Best Performance by a Duo or Group.
