We all Have Six Packs and Your Teeth Isn't White
A teenager to another “you do not have a six pack but I have and that shows I am physically healthy than you”. My response yes, but actually NO. You see, when it comes to six packs, there is more to it than the eye can see, so let's get into it.
I began to ask myself why someone will make it their life goal to have a six pack because it makes them look healthy but six pack isn't a sign of being healthy. There is one thing that people are yet to understand, and that is the fact that everyone has a six pack. According to science, every one has a Rectus Abdominis muscle which is covered by far layers above it.
So when you are not seeing that six pack on your abdomen, it is because the fat layer above it is much making it undetectable but people with low body mass fat in the abdomen have their Rectus Abdominis visible. So for people to achieve this goal, they end up losing body fat through not taking calories into the body known as calorie restriction where the amount of calorie consumed is lesser than the calories burned out which then allows for the indentations on the muscle showing forth.
Carbohydrate-rich food is often less satiating, causing people to overeat as a result them being hyper palatable, convenient, and easy to digest causing people to eat more which means they will be consuming lots of calories. So for people who want to lose these fat, they completely cut out this carbohydrate completely causing them to get result but then, we cannot underestimate the importance of carbohydrate in the body, being the major fuel for the brain, the muscles, and those high in fibers help with our guts health. So the next time someone tells you they have a six pack and you do not have one, tell them you both have a six pack.
That said, let me quickly discuss something else that people need to get straight. In the Nigerian Film Industry, almost everyone has gone to make their teeth whiter in what is referred to as teeth whitening also, people toothpaste company give this misleading believe that the teeth is white so you begin to wonder "what is the real color of the teeth?"
Actually, the teeth isn't pure white instead the color of the teeth is actually off white with a little bit of yellow but then there are some activities that can make the teeth lose its color to become more yellow. Activities such as smoking, alcohol, excessive coffee and teeth. In older people, the teeth starts to show off the more yellowish color it has as the enamel washes off gradually revealing the inner yellowish color. You see, when you are advised to brush your teeth very hard so you can have a whiter teeth, you need to be careful so you do not destroy the enamel of the teeth.
The notion that vigorous brushing will result in whiter teeth is misleading and potentially harmful, as it can damage the enamel. So, while maintaining oral hygiene is crucial, it's important to do so gently to preserve the integrity of the enamel and overall dental health.
