The Hive Awakening: A Comic About Taking Back Control of Your Content

avatar

For few days now, I have been hearing so many talks about the new Gemini AI 3 that was launched on the 19th of November, 2025. A lot of people wrote so many things about it and I decided to test it.

Source
I wrote a prompt for it to generate a comic about hive.
I cross check many times so as not to make mistakes in spellings. This alone took me weeks and correction from my friend who is good at literature to edit it and forward it back to me.
Well my intentions was not even to post it here, I just wanted to learn better things from AI untill the Gemini 3 was launched so I run my prompt today and it went well as I planned.

This is how the comic prompt is:

Generate a comic on the following information
Title: The Buzz About Hive: Own Your Content, Earn Your Keep.
Characters:
ALEX: A creative person frustrated with standard social media.
BEN: A savvy Hive user and guide.

In Panel 1:
(Setting: Alex is sitting angry on a couch, staring with anger at their phone. On the phone screen, we see a generic "Web 2.0" social media interface with a photo that they posted and with "no Earnings" highlighted.)
ALEX: Another killer sourdough recipe posted, another zero dollars earned. Why do I give Mark Zuckerberg all my best content for free?
BEN (Off-panel): You’re posting in the wrong ecosystem, my friend.

Panel 2
(Ben walks in, holding a tablet displaying the red and black Hive logo a stylized beehive.)

BEN: You need to buzz over to Hive
It’s decentralized social media.

ALEX: Decentralized what now? Is that some kind of crypto scam?

BEN: No scam. It’s a blockchain where you own your account, not some giant corporation. And best of all... great content gets rewarded.

Panel 3
(Ben sits next to Alex and points to the tablet. The screen shows a simple diagram: A user creating a post Other users upvoting it A small pile of coins appearing.)

BEN: It works like this: You create a post a blog, art, a video, whatever. The community reads it. If they like it, they give it an Upvote
ALEX: Like a "Like" button?
BEN: Yes, but on Hive, "Likes" have value. An upvote distributes a piece of the daily reward pool to you.

Panel 4
(Alex looks interested but wary. Ben looks serious and holds up a comically large, glowing, complex looking skeleton key.)

ALEX: Okay, I’m intrigued. How do I sign up? Just an email and password, right?

BEN: STOP! This is the most important part. Blockchain is different. You don't just get a password; you get Private Keys

Panel 5
(A close-up on Ben’s face, looking very intense. The background is slightly dark to emphasize the seriousness. Text is bold.)

BEN: There is NO "Forgot Password" button on Hive. You are your own bank. You must save your Master Password and keys offline somewhere safe. If you lose them, your account and money are gone forever.

ALEX (Sweating slightly): Okay... write down keys. Put in safe. got it.

Panel 6
(A few days later. Alex is at a computer, happily typing on a clean interface (like PeakD.com or Ecency.com). They are hitting a "Publish" button.)

CAPTION: Step 1: Use an onboarding service to get your account name and keys. Step 2: Secure keys. Step 3: Create!

ALEX: Okay, keys secured. Here goes my ultimate guide to sourdough starters! #food #baking #hive

Panel 7
(A split screen showing the passage of time. On the left, various diverse avatars are clicking a glowing "Upvote" arrow on Alex's post. On the right, a "Pending Payout" timer shows "7 Days".)

BEN (Voiceover): The community votes on your post for a week. Those votes calculate how much HIVE and HBD (Hive Backed Dollars) you’ll receive.

Panel 8
(One week later. Alex is looking at their "Wallet" screen on the computer with wide, excited eyes. It shows a balance of Hive tokens and HBD.)

ALEX: Whoa! The payout actually landed in my wallet! Real value for my work!

BEN (Grinning, giving a thumbs up): Welcome to the hive, Alex. Now keep creating and start stacking those tokens!
