We now live in a world were our phone is linked to almost everything we do on a daily basis. From information, communication, and even opportunities.
This benefits makes us enjoy the use of phones, but it comes with its own problem, the phone start controling us instead of us controling the phone. That's where the Digital Minimalism comes in:
Digital minimalism is when you use phone in such a way that makes you you take away the distractions and focusing on what really matters. Imagine how many times how many times you use your phone in a day, sometimes just to check a notification and ends up spending hours on the phone.
can you count how many times phone has distracted you from doing important things, but do you know that this small distraction can cause you a lot, it destroys your focus, and reduce the level of productivity in you making you not to have mental peace.

How do you take back your focus? It's by controling your phone, to do that, you need to be truthful to yourself.
First, track your digital habits to know how often you spend time scrolling your phone and know the app you spend more time on the most. Having this awareness is a clear road to freedom. After listing out this, you now turn off notifications on non important apps. Arrange your home screen with only important apps.
Another stage is knowing the purpose of you using the phone: before you unlock your phone, first of all as yourself why you are unlocking the phone? (remember always be sincere to yourself). If the answer is not that clear enough, you drop it. This can save you the wasted time.

When you drop the phone what will you do to ensure you don't focus on the phone? This is when you engage yourself with things that is important to your life. Example, using phone while eating, drop the phone and eat. Using phone while have a conversation with someone, drop the phone and talk. And most important when you wake up. Drop the phone and meditate for like 20 mins and read a book for another 30 min this will help you every morning.
The goal of digital minimalism is not about phone restriction but rather its a freedom from phone. When you reduce distraction from your phone. you will automatically peace, and more control over your life and success in your carrier because you will now have time to think. When all this is done you will begin to use your phone as a tool instead of your master and always remember that technology was to save us not rule over us.

I like this post .... and it is true ππ
That's the facts, most of the Gen z are really suffering from this
I believe this post will help some people to control how they spend time on their phone
The phone is a great tool, but the creators of technology don't let us understand it, because it is a very powerful information provider and distributor, so they desperately control everything in that and keep you stuck in simple, vulgar entertainment. This is why many people don't understand how to use the phone. π€·ββοΈππ
