Today, two of the most powerful technologies are Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing. This is a form of computing that is referred to as “quantum-centric,” and is believed to be a leading method for addressing some of humanity's greatest challenges. However, the challenges are great despite the great opportunities. Building and running quantum computers is challenging due to the need for very tight tolerances. There are also problems of error correction, security and accessibility that researchers need to solve. But history has proven that a problem with technology can result in innovation.
