[ESP-ENG] My 2023 Wrapped

Ya casi estamos finalizando el año, y hoy he querido compartir con ustedes un post diferente, haciendo una recapitulización de lo que ha sido el 2023 para mí. Hablaré de las experiencias, motivaciones y aprendizajes que obtuve a lo largo de estos largos doce meses. ¿Comenzamos?

We are almost at the end of the year, and today I want to share with y'all a different kind of post, recapping what 2023 has been for me. I will talk about the experiences, motivations and learnings I have gained throughout these long twelve months. Shall we begin?

Empezando el año, después de la fiesta del día primero (omito si hubo resaca o no 😂) firmé con un sello discográfico austriaco donde tuve la oportunidad de hacer destacar una de mis canciones de música electrónica, y aquí te la dejo por si deseas escucharla y no te quedes con la duda de saber cuál es 😅. En el mismo Enero celebré el cumpleaños de mi madre comiendo pizza, ese día recuerdo que hacía algo de frío por lo que tuvimos que ponernos enguatadas finas.

At the beginning of the year, after the party of the first day (I omit if there was a hangover or not 😂) I signed with an Austrian record label where I had the opportunity to highlight one of my electronic music songs, and here I leave it for you in case you want to listen to it and do not stay with the doubt of knowing which it is 😅. In the same January I celebrated my mother's birthday eating pizza, that day I remember it was a bit cold so we had to wear thin gloves.

Conocí a @suanetmusic y nuestro primer encuentro fue tomando helado en la heladería Pret a Porter (frecuento mucho ese lugar, puedes enterarte más de ello siguiéndome en Liketu para no perderte el contenido exclusivo que subo). Te comento que me encanta el helado de menta, el azurro y el coco, un poco raro, pero sí.

I met @suanetmusic and our first meeting was having ice cream at Pret a Porter (I frequent that place a lot, you can find out more about it by following me on Liketu so you don't miss the exclusive content I upload). I love mint ice cream, azurro and coconut, a bit weird, but yes.

Junto al colectivo de Five Senses participé a una exposición de arte digital realizada en la casa cultural “Antonia Eiriz” donde pueden ver a @deboravillarvera y @ramkarooz, con quienes compartí también muy bellos momentos en el primer tremestre.

Together with the Five Senses collective I participated in a digital art exhibition held at the culture house "Antonia Eiriz" where you can see @deboravillarvera and @ramkarooz, with whom I also shared beautiful moments in the first three months.

Sí, también estuve en la Feria del Libro, se puede decir que estuve prestando servicios allá, pero este día fue el encuentro casual propuesto por la comunidad Hive Cuba donde @nony y yo nos encontramos con @manuphotos y otros hivers. Ese mismo día descubrí que me gustaba el café, sólo que no había encontrado una fuente confiable desde donde tomar 🤣. Por eso fue que le comenté hace poco a @ceciliajess que no era la única amante a esta bebida. A partir de ahí muchas de mis mañanas han sido en la Feria de Artesanía de La Habana, cuando quieran un encuentro informal por allá, simplemente lo gestionamos.

Yes, I was also at the Book Fair, you could say I was providing some services there, but this day was the chance meeting proposed by the Hive Cuba community where @nony and I met @manuphotos and other hivers. That same day I discovered that I liked coffee, I just hadn't found a reliable source from which to drink 🤣. That's why I recently told @ceciliajess that I wasn't the only one who loved this beverage. From then on many of my mornings have been at the Havana Craft Fair, when you want an informal meeting over there, we can just simply arrange it.

Después de retomar el gimnasio y el ejercicio en casa decidí volver a mis andancias en La Habana Vieja, ya que antes solía caminar mucho por esa zona, tomando fotografías a los barrios y claro, tratar de que me las tomen a mí 😅.

After going back to the gym and exercising at home I decided to go back to my wanderings in Old Havana, as I used to walk around the area a lot, taking pictures of the neighbourhoods and of course, trying to grab some photos for me 😅.

En Marzo vinieron las clases de Hive en el IGP, donde hice varios talleres junto a @tonyes, @nony y @zorili91. Tuvimos de invitado a @crptogeek quien dijo una clase magistral de cambio de monedas de Hive usando soluciones cubanas. No dejar pasar por alto la colaboración de @newnow497 y @ylaffittep en varias circunstancias.

The Hive classes came on March at IGP, where I did several workshops together with @tonyes, @nony and @zorili91. We had @crptogeek as a guest who gave a masterclass on Hive currency exchange using Cuban solutions. Not to overlook the collaboration of @newnow497 and @ylaffittep in various circumstances.

Compartí con @thoicel (el influencer de la IA) y @ramkarooz (creador de Five Senses) en una salida ocasional a pasear La Habana, donde nos encontramos con los chicos de @mantraspace, @avaldhi, @niocoonline y @boynaymusic para dar sesiones de masajes.

I shared with @thoicel (the AI influencer) and @ramkarooz (creator of Five Senses) on an occasional outing to walk around Havana, where we met up with the guys from @mantraspace, @avaldhi, @niocoonline and @boynaymusic to give massage sessions.

La piscina de El Polvorín (Mayabeque) fue una muy buena experiencia de verano junto a los geólogos y geofísicos del Instituto de Geología y Paleontología. Nos divertimos, mucho, comimos mucho y nos bañamos bastante en el agua llena de cloro; me dio fiebre, pero valío la pena.

The swimming pool at El Polvorín (Mayabeque) was a very good summer experience with the geologists and geophysicists of the Institute of Geology and Palaeontology. We had a lot of fun, we ate a lot and get swimming in the chlorine-filled water; I got a fever, but it was worth it.

Fui invitado a una conferencia de emprendedores en el hotel Gran Aston donde tuve la oportunidad de conocer a muchos líderes de proyecto, entre ellos, la creadora de Skhole, muy buena persona y muy buena onda. Su proyecto realiza eventos físicos en colaboración para la visibilidad del sector privado en el país, si quieres conocer más acerca de ello puedes chequear su perfil aquí.

I was invited to an entrepreneurship conference at the Gran Aston Hotel where I had the opportunity to meet many project leaders, among them, the creator of Skhole, a very nice person and very cool. Her project is doing physical events in collaboration for the visibility of the private sector in the country, if you want to know more about it you can check her profile here.

La primera vez que entré a la Ciudad Deportiva fue la vez en que Hive Cuba fue partícipe de los juegos virtuales de fútbol efectuado en el mes de Mayo. No sabía que había tanta fama por este tipo de deporte digital en el país hasta que vi tanta comunidad fitness reunida allí.

The first time I entered the Ciudad Deportiva was when Hive Cuba participated in the virtual football games in May. I didn't know there was so much fame for this type of digital sport in the country until I saw so much community gathered there.

Luego vino el evento de ciudadELA y varias salidas a más lugares de La Habana, La Casa del Chocolate entre ellos, participación en exposiciones de arte y muchos café. Hice un cambio significativo de dispositivo móvil, conocí a @danielucha, @genrigp y hubieron nuevos integrantes a nuestro proyecto.

Then came the ciudadELA event and several outings to more places in Havana, La Casa del Chocolate among them, participation in art exhibitions and lots of coffee. I made a significant change of mobile device, I met @danielucha, @genrigp and there were new members to our project.

Este 2023 llegó una persona muy especial a mi vida, quien me ha ayudado muchísimo, apoyado y ha visto lo mejor en mí. Aunque ya nos conocíamos desde hace años, empezamos a conectar muy bien, compartiendo gustos, experiencias y momentos de manera armónica. Muchas de las cosas que he podido lograr o realizado en este año fue bajo su buena influencia y motivación, quien con su carisma ha hecho despertar el espíritu creador en mí, siendo mi fuerza motriz en cada momento. Le tengo mucho que agradecer a @greid.

This 2023 a very special person came into my life, who has helped me a lot, supported me and has seen the best in me. Although we had already known each other for years, we started to connect very well, sharing tastes, experiences and moments in a harmonious way. Many of the things I have been able to achieve or accomplish this year were under her good influence and motivation, who with her charisma has awakened the creative spirit in me, being my driving force in every moment. I have a lot to thank @greid for.

Quiero agradecer al equipo de Five Senses, miembros de la comunidad Hive Cuba, seguidores, @herlopab, a Lia, compañeros y a las personas mencionadas en este post por ayudarme de alguna manera u otra a atravesar este 2023. Fue una travesía larga pero interesante que volvería a atravesar con ustedes nuevamente sin pensarlo dos veces, sólo puedo decir dos cosas: Muchas gracias. ¿Qué tal tu 2023?
