[ESP-ENG] ciudadELA sonando en la radio, evento de apertura y música NFT

ciudadELA Fest fue un evento de apertura que acaba de iniciar una nueva etapa de visibilidad para la enfermedad de la ELA en Cuba y el mundo. Conoce aquí los principales detalles del mismo y cómo se llevó a cabo.

ciudadELA Fest was an opening event that has just started a new stage of visibility for ALS disease in Cuba and the world. Learn here the main details of the event and how it was carried out.

Efectuado el día 8 de Septiembre de 2023, ciudadELA Fest reunió a varios proyectos en colaboración para darle la visibilidad a la ELA (Esclerosis Lateral Amiotrófica), una enfermedad sin cura que afecta las funciones motoras de cinco de cada 100K personas en el mundo. Nativos B 6 12, Five Senses, innovuz, D’Gusta y otros proyectos, se unieron en el lugar Habana Espacios Creativos para difundir la causa y alzar la voz de forma cultural con esta iniciativa.

Held on September 8th, 2023, ciudadELA Fest brought together several projects in collaboration to give visibility to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a disease with no cure that affects the motor functions of five out of every 100K people in the world. Nativos B 6 12, Five Senses, innovuz, D'Gusta and other projects came together at Habana Espacios Creativos to spread the cause and raise their voices in a cultural way with this initiative.

Debido a que fueron muy pocos días los que teníamos antes de lanzar el evento, nos tomamos con fuerza la idea de armar todo en conjunto, pero la buena noticia fue que se logró, llegando a conocerse por decenas de espectadores reunidos en un solo lugar. Justo a la hora de empezar, se efectuaron diversos paneles dirigidos a la información general sobre esta enfermedad, seguida por varias charlas realizadas por colaboradores del proyecto en cuestión.

Due to the fact that we had very few days before launching the event, we strongly took the idea of putting everything together, but the good new is that it was achieved, coming to be known by dozens of spectators gathered in one place. Right at the beginning of the event, there were several panels aimed at general information about this disease, followed by several talks given by collaborators of the project in question.

Marcel, uno de los protagonistas de la causa, comentó varias palabras con respecto a cómo surgió este campamento y su interés en poder extender su conocimiento más allá de los límites perceptibles sobre dicha enfermedad, y más, a través del arte, su rama principal. Se dieron a conocer además, las canciones que conformarían el disco que estará disponible este 23 de Septiembre en la plataforma que hemos estado hablando recientemente, Sound, su producción y la reutilización de sonidos registrados a partir del dispositivo theremin, uno de los factores claves de este campamento.

Marcel, one of the protagonists of this cause, commented several words regarding how this camp arose and his interest in being able to extend their knowledge beyond the perceptible limits on the disease, and more, through music, his main art branch. It was also announced, the songs that would make up the album that will be available this September 23 on the platform that we have been talking recently, Sound, its production and reuse of sounds recorded from the theremin device, one of the key factors of this camp.
