[ENG-ESP] Hive Workshop - Dedicated education for scientists and researchers

I recently had the pleasure of presenting, on the latest workshop held in my country, the benefits and advantages offered by Hive as a technology not only for content creators, but also for researchers in the scientific field. Today I will comment its meaning for professionals in the research area and the events that took place there.

Hace poco tuve el placer de exponer, en el último evento realizado en mi país, las bondades, beneficios y ventajas que ofrece Hive como tecnología para no sólo los creadores de contenido, sino también para los investigadores de la rama científica. Hoy comentaré el significado de este evento para los profesionales del área investigativa y los hechos acontecidos en él.

On July 5th, held at the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, the Hive interactive science workshop was successfully carried out and was attended by several participants. Although it didn't go 100% as planned, the participants of this event had a great time and shared several tips and experiences.

Dado el día 5 de Julio, ubicado en el centro del Instituto de Geología y Paleontología, el taller científico interactivo de Hive fue realizado con éxito donde asistieron varios participantes. A pesar de no haber quedado 100% como se tenía esperado según los planes, los participantes de dicho evento la pasamos genial y compartimos varios tips y experiencias.

Starting off, @tonyes opened the panel with the news that exactly one year ago he had the opportunity to step into this new world of Web3 where he has been steadily for more than 365 days. He told his story of how he discovered Hive and was energized to embark on a new stage in blockchain technology. Accompanied by his digital presentation, he issued some insights regarding the protocol and various strategies he uses for content creation and value generation.

Comenzando, @tonyes abrió el panel con la noticia de que exactamente hacía un año tuvo la oportunidad de adentrarse en este nuevo mundo de la Web3 donde se ha mantenido de forma constante por más de 365 días. Comentó su historia de cómo descubrió Hive y se llenó de fuerzas para emprender a un nuevo estadio dirigido a la tecnología de la cadena de bloques. Acompañado de su presentación digital, emitió algunas ideas con respecto al protocolo y varias estrategias que él usa para la creación de contenido y la generación de valor.

Next, @zorili91 spoke of the social and emotional benefits of being able to write in communities and share socially with users on the ecosystem, referring to it as a way to spiritually reconnect with oneself.

Acto seguido, @zorili91 habló de las ventajas sociales y emocionales que reflejan poder escribir en comunidades y compartir de forma social con los usuarios del ecosistema, refiriéndose a las mismas como una forma de reencontrarse espiritualmente consigo mismo.

@osismi told us about her favorite community and the experiences she has gained throughout the five months she has been posting on Hive, as well as the social benefits she has been able to approach through her time within the protocol.

@osismi nos comentó acerca de su comunidad preferida y las experiencias que ha obtenido a lo largo de los cinco meses que lleva publicando en Hive, así como los beneficios sociales a los que ha podido acercarse mediante su tiempo dentro del protocolo.

Later, @nony emphasizes us with a presentation aimed at tags, their correct use in writing dapps, their importance and meaning that could have one or the other depending on the context we are talking about in our posts.

Más tarde, @nony nos hace hincapié con una presentación dirigida a las etiquetas, su correcto uso en las dapps de escritura, su importancia y significado que podrían tener una u otra en dependencia del contexto del que estemos hablando en nuestras publicaciones.

My entry was the last one, where I commented a little more about the underlying technology of smart contracts, NFTs and how intellectual property resides on-chain behind the publications we make. I also highlighted the importance of patents in the scientific field and the financing of research results to continue generating value both in the form of knowledge and material.

Mi entrada, fue la última, donde comenté un poco más adentro de la tecnología subyacente de los contratos inteligentes, los NFTs y cómo reside la propiedad intelectual dentro de la cadena tras las publicaciones que hacemos. Destaqué además, la importancia de las patentes en la rama científica y el financiamiento de los resultados investigativos para seguir generando valor ya sea tanto en forma de conocimiento como material.

Before finishing, @newnow497, one of our guests, shared with us several tips about Hive tokenomics and how, as users we can make the most of it by staking and proxy voting the resources associated with our accounts. In addition, his wife @ylaffittep also told us about the use of whale call tags and their correct selection of use in case of publishing content that should not be directed towards the top curators of the platform, as a tip.

Antes de terminar, @newnow497, uno de nuestros invitados, nos compartió varios tips acerca de la economía de tokens de Hive y cómo, como usuarios podemos sacarle el máximo provecho mediante el staking y el voto de poder de los recursos asociados a nuestras cuentas. Además, su esposa @ylaffittep nos comentó también acerca del uso de etiquetas de llamado a ballenas y su correcta selección de uso en caso de publicar contenido que no deba dirigirse hacia los máximos curadores de la plataforma, como consejo.

Several participants, including the leader and creator of Five Senses, @ramkarooz, along with other colleagues, were presented with a gift by the IGP team for their participation and attendance at the event, before enjoying a snack provided by the event managers. Workshops like this create true partnerships, and allow us to know who is really in for the long term and who isn't, which optimizes the creation of a true community, which is what we are creating.

Varios participantes, entre ellos, el líder y creador de Five Senses, @ramkarooz, junto a otros colegas fue obsequiado por el equipo del IGP por su participación y asistencia al evento, antes de poder disfrutar de una merienda propulsada por los gestores del mismo. Talleres como este hacen que se creen verdaderas alianzas, y permite conocer quién realmente está para el largo plazo y quién no, lo que optimiza la creación de una verdadera comunidad, que es la que estamos creando.
