[ENG-ESP] ERC-404: New Ethereum token standard
Ethereum's blockchain is witnessing the emergence of an innovative token standard known as ERC-404, developed by the pseudonymous creators "ctrl" and "Acme". Token standards are formal sets of rules and protocols that dictate the behaviour of tokens on blockchain networks, including Ethereum itself.

But how does ERC-404 actually work? In general, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are indivisible and unique, making fractional ownership impossible. ERC-404 circumvents this limitation by leveraging token creation and deletion mechanisms to facilitate fractional transfers of NFTs.

Tokens issued under ERC-404 are linked to specific NFTs. The purchase of a full token results in the creation of the associated NFT in your wallet. On the other hand, selling a fraction of a token results in the removal of the linked NFT. If a wallet accumulates enough token fractions to own a full token, a new NFT will automatically be created.

Unlike widely adopted standards such as ERC-20 and ERC-721, ERC-404 has not undergone a full external audit nor has it been submitted as an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP). As a result, potential flaws could exist, posing risks for token holders.
