Scientific Proof That Aliens Could Look Like Living Things On Earth
Hi there everyone, I've got a really interesting science concept, or more of a realization for everyone, and believe me, it may blow your mind.
I'm pretty sure you're eager for me to explain myself upon reading the very title of this blog.
Yes, there's a really high chance, or even proof, that alien lifeforms might actually look pretty similar to living things on Earth.
When we look on the internet and newspapers and read blogs on Alien life detections and what they might look like, they always seem pretty strange, don't they?
Well, one reason is that most of the images are created by people based on their attempt to create an image so strange and otherworldly.
But I'm here to give you the benefit of a doubt. Aliens could look pretty similar to us or living things on Earth.
In fact, you know, there's a good chance that aliens do actually look like humans. Just hear me out for a second.
When it comes to imagining what aliens could look like, possibilities really are endless. There's truly no scale or limit of what Aliens shouldn't or should look like.
Although the truth is that there's no reason to say that alien life would have to resemble Earth life in any way, even in the elements that make it up.
We are made from primarily carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus. Alien life could be made from other elements.
In Fred Hoyle's 1957 book, he imagined an alien cloud of dust and gas that wandered around the universe living off the energy of solar radiation. Solar radiation was the source of energy for this imagined alien.
And also in Project Hail Mary, the aliens are interstellar microbes that live on the surface of stars. Obviously, their structure would be very different to enable them to adapt to an environment as harsh as the surface of stars, which means they're very different from us.
But here's my point on why I think aliens could be similar to life on Earth.
There are actually some astrobiologists who say that alien life would probably be pretty similar to Earth life. They have grounds on which they stand to make such a bold claim, though. I'll show you why.
For example, every single animal on Earth has a right side and left side organization. This allows us to move in a straight line and make abrupt turns. That's a similarity we humans share with virtually every single animal on planet Earth.
Flight evolved very differently in birds, bats, and even insects, but the common element was that flight is a good way to get around on a planet that has an atmosphere.
So considering this concept of right side left side organization and the way flight helps living things get around on planets, if we do find an exoplanet with a similar makeup or structure to our home planet Earth, even if the animals look different from ours, they'll probably function pretty similarly.
The similar functioning of these aliens will certainly allow them to evolve with structures or features pretty similar to ours. That's the concept of evolution anyways, isn't it?
So there you have it, fellow science enthusiasts. The proof that aliens look similar to living things on Earth is a Physics thing.
As long as the alien exoplanet we discover having life looks very similar to planet Earth, there's a good chance that the aliens there will also look similar to living things or animals on Earth.
- You might be surprised they may look more like humans with just different features or abilities.
I would be glad to get your thoughts on this concept though.
