I hear you on the budget, then years ago when I was working full time I would have gone with the expensive one too. But this looks like a nice balance, half the price and had all the functionality to make your jobs more efficient. Ironically, I'm currently mouse shopping, I'll definitely put this on my list to check out. Thanks for the great info!

If you have a bit more budget, I'd definitely recommend getting the MX version with the thumb wheel. It's an absolute lifesaver. Just make sure the flick button is right below it. I never realized how convenient that placement would be until I used it.
