Technology's Impact on Music: A Two-Sided Coin.

Do you agree with me that music has really changed the phase of music in this current dispensation? Music has really moved from just music to advanced music with the use of technology. We see these days how it has helped in music production, sound making, tracks and so on. Music has just been so different from what it was before to some really different, but actually there is still quality and good music from the past, which I still find lovely, but compared to what it is now, it makes a lot of sense.

Some of the reasons I say music has helped improve the phase of music now are:

1. Sound Revolution: Music at this time is far different from then. Talking about the sound revolution, I will be basing this on sound production, which we mainly do int the studio. Technology has made music production in studios so expensive that most people with low incomes won't be able to afford it. But now, everyone can create a mini studio in their room, starting with just applications on your phone and some speakers, and you are good to go. These digital tools have really helped most people to create meaningful sounds that will interest others. Also, this has now made most people delving into music creation more independent...

2. Global Groove: I love this part because you are able to groove to any music of your choice from any location you are, and you don't need to bother going to where it was created. Applications like Spotify, Apple Music, AudioMack, and others have really made this happen and these were done with the help of technology.

3. Musical Concert: Musical concerts are a form of entertainment that most people like and sometimes, when we all do not have the ability to go and watch these concerts live, we stream them from our closest devices, like our phones, TVs and many others. The stages used for these concerts are also what technology has really helped to improve for better performance and entertainment.

With the invention of technology so far, has it really helped?
Well, there is nothing that has an advantage without a disadvantage. As much as we get to do things better with technology, it also has its side effect, which is, sometimes, it reduces the payout of those that are really doing these things as their business because there are lots of pirated music versions out there that were not done by the original artist, and this will allow competition between the original one and the pirated ones.

Technology will keep changing music, but it's up to us how we do it. Let's try cool new music while still remembering that humans make music special.

Music, like other industries, is evolving. Technology certainly has something to do with it. While there are more upsides to it, there are also downsides (artists losing revenue etc). Now that there's AI, it makes me wonder what's going to be like in a few years.

You are right, I sometimes think about that also. How would music be in the next coming years with the use of AI in existence. But let's hope it gets better.

While I was out yesterday, I heard a song that I knew when I was little, and I told my friend to listen to the beat. It is very different from what we have now and that's it.

Technology has done a lot of improvements to the production of music. The combination of instruments is made easier and better especially in my preferred genre of music, reggae.
